Time to Talk Day resources

Free toolkits of mental health resources

The aim of the toolkits is to provide organisations and groups with a range of resources so that they can engage people in discussions about:

  • Simple things we can all do to maintain or improve our mental wellbeing
  • The importance of talking about feelings and seeking help when necessary
  • Support services available to people who can’t cope
  • Stigma relating to mental health problems and the impact this can have

This year Warrington Time To Change Hub will be managing the co-ordination of the free toolkits of mental health resources. The contents of the toolkits can be downloaded as a PDF by clicking here. Depending on resources available, the final version of the toolkits may vary slightly from this list.

Ordering a toolkit

To order a toolkit please download and complete this form and email it to tttd2020.speakup@gmail.com.

Allocation of toolkits

The toolkits are most likely to be allocated to people who have clear plans for using the materials; and who will use the toolkits to actively engage people in discussion. Requests for toolkits which are going to be used on unstaffed information tables, or unstaffed wall displays will be given a lower priority.

There is a limited number of toolkits, so if the demand is high, then it may not be possible to allocate a toolkit to everyone who orders one. Also it’s unlikely that more than one toolkit will be allocated per team. The toolkits are only available for use within Warrington.

By 24 January Warrington Time to Change Hub will contact everyone who’s ordered a toolkit, to confirm whether they’ve have been allocated one or not.

Receiving your toolkit

If you’re allocated a Time to Talk Day toolkit, it will be posted to you to arrive on, or before 3 February 2020. If you have any questions about the process for ordering a toolkit, then please contact Jayne Hoarty on tttd2020.speakup@gmail.com
